PET’S AREN’T A JOB FOR US, THEY ARE OUR WAY OF LIFE!

We aren’t people that opened a pet resort as a business opportunity. For 45+ years we have been active in the “sport” of dogs. We’re currently owned by 2 Labrador Retrievers, 2 horses, 2 cats and countless chickens. Animals of every kind, breed, shape and size are a passion and way of life for us. We’ve competed in conformation, obedience, rescue, field work, tracking, etc., we’ve basically done it all.

In 2000, we began boarding animals as part of our dog-show hobby under the name Fur Family Members Pet Care, guided by our motto: “We treat your pet like our family.” In 2002 as demand grew for our services, we relocated and built a small family run 24 suite resort and changed our name to represent what we are… a Pet Resort. With continued demand, we expanded three more times. Since then, each year we reinvest in our Pet Resort to care for our guests in the best way possible. We are very proud of our pet resort and invite you for a tour! The Fayetteville Pet resort was built from our dog care/training/behavior experience and your pet’s perspective with focus on his well-being, comfort and your peace of mind.

Both of our managers have been with The Pet Resort for over 15 years. One of them lives next to the resort and is a Certified Surgical Vet Tech and has worked with and continues her relationship with some of the best Veterinarians in town.

Each of our kennel techs share our love and commitment to animals of every kind and all come from pet care experience. We provide a safe and fun vacation for your pet while you are away.
